About

I’m a mid 20s, self-professed geek from Richmond, VA. By day, and quite often by night, I concern myself with all things software construction. I spend time reading, discussing and debating all that goes into the software craft (sometimes I even find time to practice it). While writing this, I’ve come to realize how frighteningly large an amount of time that really is when it’s all added up. I should think about something else. My thoughts usually wander to food. I love food. This recently has lead me to a remarkable self-revelation – I love spending time learning and practicing the craft of cooking as well.

If I still find that I have time on my hands, odds are I’ll spend it one of the following ways – movies, film, reading (Sagan and Vonnegut are my favorite leisure-reading authors), playing the drums or telling myself that I should do something around the house, but never actually doing it. Oh, and last year I got a motorcycle license and started riding, and that’s a lot of fun, too.

That should be way more information than any Anonymous Coward needs to know about me! To put your message in the series of tubes and have it reach me, address it to username chris.wash, domain gmail.com and send it. And whatever you do, make sure you don’t just dump it on the tubes – it’s not a big truck!
